Getting Started

So, let's start at the beginning. My name is Brittney and I'm a hair stylist. Did that start out like an AA meeting? Oh well, it gets the job done.


The purpose of this blog is...well...there are many purposes. This is my personal blog but I'll be using it as a way to promote our incredible salon, it's a place to find out about hair product myths and facts, it's a place to have questions answered that you may or may not have thought of, it's an outlet for writing as well as a place where I can talk about one of my favorite subjects and if you get bored of listening, you can leave and I'll never know and won't be offended :) (but on that note...if you hate the blog...let me know so I can change it!), and it's just fun. It really is!


People write about things that they love or they have a passion for or just like talking about. Hair is all of those things for me, I could talk about it non-stop. Especially our salon; it's such a fun place to be whether you work there or are a client there. I'm sure I'll be writing about my days at the salon in the near future. Something interesting happens every day!


There are 8 of us that work here. There are Ashley, Jeremy, Derek, Miguel, Bronson, Crystal, the owner, Karim, and me. (Yes, I went back and counted the names to be sure there were 8). 4 stylists, 5 barbers (figure that one out! ;) lol). (As you can tell, I love parenthesis and side notes). We all enjoy working together and I think we've done a great job of creating a very comfortable atmosphere. I finally have a job where I don't dread waking up in the morning...well...I still dread the morning but it has nothing to do with work and everything to do with waking up, but that's another blog. Work is wonderful! I also have a second job and I don't like leaving the salon to go to it. I'd much rather be here all day long! Even though I get picked on all day long by the guys, it's ok, it's brotherly/sisterly love...right guys?? These people have truly become my 'Imagine Family' and I honestly love hanging out in the salon. 


We're open 7 days a week and located at 3841 E. Broadway Blvd, Tucson 85716. 
Tuesday-Friday hours are 7:30-7:30.
Monday and Saturday hours are 7:30-5
Sunday hours are 11-5.


My hours more often than not are M-F 7:30-2, Sat 12-5.
